Who is the Level 7 Diploma for?
The Level 7 Diploma is aimed at senior managers and leaders who are looking to improve their knowledge and skills and are likely to be responsible for developing and applying Health & Safety procedures on a daily basis. The Level 7 Diploma is suited to individuals looking to progress their career to the highest level.
How is the Level 7 Diploma assessed?
Much like NVQ qualifications, there is no exam or classroom time for the Level 7 diploma. You will be required to produce a portfolio of evidence demonstrating your understanding and achievements for each unit. This will be reviewed, signed off and approved by your assessor. Once you have fulfilled the necessary requirements, set out by Pro Qual, one of our internal verifiers will check your work and sign it off as complete. You will then be awarded the qualification.
How long is the Level 7 diploma?
The Level 7 Diploma must be completed within two years.
What is involved when completing the Level 7 Diploma?
Candidates will have a personal mentor for the duration of this course who will be on hand throughout your process of gathering evidence and developing your diploma portfolio. To complete this qualification usually requires the creation of evidence and reflective reports. Your mentor will guide you remotely, and you will also have the option of visiting your assessor.
What do I need before starting the Level 7 Diploma?
To study for the Level 7 Diploma, you must currently be working in a Health & Safety role and have relevant work experience. The qualifications you require are either NVQ Levels 4, 5, or a Level 6, or a NEBOSH Diploma and ideally, be a member of IOSH with CPD. If you have alternative experience and expertise, please get in contact to discuss your eligibility for this course.
What is included with Level 7 Diploma?
The Level 7 Diploma includes 2 years registration, as well as two years’ support with our assessors.

This certification is ideal for those working primarily in intermediate-risk buildings and is aligned with the skills, knowledge, and behaviours outlined in BS 8674: Built Environment – Framework for Competence of Individual Fire Risk Assessors – Code of Practice.
