We’re proud to share some exciting news from here at Business Safety Systems — Jamie Bartlam has officially made UK history as the very first graduate of the brand-new IOSH Level 6 Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health Leadership and Management.
Jamie received his certificate right here at our Stafford-based training centre, where he completed the course with us. This is not just a milestone for Jamie’s career, but also a landmark moment for health and safety education across the UK.
Because the qualification is entirely work-based, Jamie was able to directly apply his learning to his day-to-day role as a Director at SchoolPro Safety, a Cheltenham-based company providing safety solutions to schools.
“I’ve been able to really examine how I deliver health and safety advice and make sure it’s the best it can be,” Jamie told us. “The course has been hugely beneficial. Now, when I go into a school, they know they’re getting a certain quality of support.”
The IOSH Level 6 Diploma, developed by the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health — the world’s largest chartered body for health and safety professionals — is designed to build the next generation of leaders in occupational safety and health. It equips learners with the strategic insight, technical expertise, and leadership skills needed to meet the demands of modern workplaces.
For us at Business Safety Systems, Jamie’s success is a proud moment. Celebrating our 30th year, we are one of the first training providers in the UK to deliver this pioneering qualification — combining academic excellence with practical, hands-on experience.
